Who’s Calling You?
Have you noticed which businesses contact you to remind you of an appointment or inform you that your product is ready for pick up?
I know I appreciate reminder calls or emails. I have received them from my massage therapist, naturopath and dentist.
There are businesses that I would like to hear from but don’t. It seems that in some industries, it is standard to not follow up. Two industries that come to mind are dry cleaners and pharmacies. I find it interesting to think about how much they could increase their cash flow by getting customers in sooner with a friendly reminder call.

Are you picking up the phone to call your clients and follow up? It’s funny how many of us worry about being a bother, however, many people are grateful to receive a call even just to touch base. It shows you care and this builds a higher level of loyalty.
