Tribute to Nancy Eagles
In my April 20, 2010 marketing tip, I wrote about an amazing person, Nancy Eagles.
Nancy owned and operated Inanna Herbs.
Nancy’s love and commitment to creating natural herbal remedies was her passion. Over several years, her business began to see success when a number of her products appeared on the shelves of health food stores and drugstores.
Last month, Nancy was attending a women’s conference and, as she often did, personally handed out bath bombs to 150 attendees. That night, while driving home, she experienced a health concern and the next day passed on.
Her generosity, thoughtfulness and “give-first” attitude will be remembered by those of us who experienced her true kindness. Although her circumstances were extremely sad and unexpected, the joy she brought to 150 women the night before she passed on is unforgettable.
As business owners and decision makers, I believe at times we lose sight of what is most important in life. Nancy Eagles is a true example of someone who remained connected to the things that brought her and others the most joy.
Her legacy may seem small to some, yet to myself and those in her circle ofinfluence, her legacy is very powerful..
Are you connected with what is most important to you in your own life and your business? What would your legacy look like?
For me, it’s about being of service to others and sharing the marketing knowledge and systems that I have developed. This translates to helping small business owners and organizations sustain and grow their businesses. For those businesses that can’t afford to pay my fees, they have the option of attending one of my presentations or workshops and learning a system that has helped hundreds of small businesses. This brings me great joy, and, I hope, brings joy to others too.
Great words about A great Lady she will be missed.
What would your legacy look like?
Words to ponder.
I know my life is better for having had Nancy pass by I only hope the same can be said of me.
Nancy you left a great legacy
