Obama Mania
As I sit here eating far to much Halloween candy, I’m listening to the John McGain’s concession speech which is the only somber part of this historic evening. Barrack Obama is the new President Elect.
It’s not very often that I sit in front of my TV for more than a few minutes at a time, yet tonight I have been dedicated to knowing the decision made by the American people. I’ve been waiting all day for this moment.
Yesterday, there was a piece featured on the National about the how there is a true Obama Mania that has crossed the borders into Canada. On Commercial Drive in East Vancouver alone, you can by Obama finger puppets and Obama T-shirts.
I would suspect that many entrepreneurs will be capitalizing on Barack Obama winning the presidency by selling all things Obama as of tomorrow morning.
Obama’s message is a message of Hope and Change. This is a message that the American people needed to hear. His campaign resonated throughout the world. Congratulations to Barack Obama and his team for carving out a piece of history that will be remembered forever – the first African American President.
